For Tom, there’s no problem that cannot be solved. A clear-headed strategist and commercial leader with a big heart and a fancy for Hawaiian shirts, Tom used his deep experience in finance and professional services as a launchpad for Provider Choice. Part of his fervent desire to find a new way to navigate the NDIS comes from personal drive: when his nephew became a participant in the scheme, Tom saw firsthand how difficult it is for families to find the right services, let alone understand their plan. So he teamed up with his mate Jono and made it the firm’s mission to build a solution for his nephew, and anyone else in the NDIS.

Jonathan grew up with a best friend, Marcus, who has autism. He was Marcus’ support worker while studying law. Little did he know that his lived experience with disability and a two-year role as a consultant – advising NDIS executives on the scheme’s rollout and technology – would give him the inside knowledge and hands-on enthusiasm to start the Provider Choice story with Tom. Marcus remains a close friend to this day, even though he tries to convince Jonathan that the only teas worth drinking are almond, coconut and piña colada. Jonathan prefers real piña coladas and says he’s a kite surfer, even though he’s only had one lesson and shown no aptitude for it. He is a nominee for a family member in the NDIS.

Thomas is Provider Choice’s creative tech mastermind, with more than 10 years of experience building networking infrastructure and digital marketplaces. Originally from France, he brings a formidable mix of language skills (including being a coding ace) and charm to create all sorts of magical tech tools for us. Thomas believes in the power of technology to improve the lives of people with disability. His cousin has trisomy 21 and growing up with him continues to fuel his work motivation: to design new systems that have a real impact in the world.

How can we put some time back into your day? It’s the simple question that can make a big difference in people's lives, and the one that drives Jeff's work. As Managing Director of Provider Choice - Plan Management, Jeff and his team are dedicated to identifying ways to simplify and streamline our platform through technology in order for participants to maximise the value of their plan. Applying both a creative and analytical approach to plan management, Jeff and his team continually work to make our invoicing processes easier and our customer support more reliable for families living with disability (he has a family member in the NDIS himself, so he knows what it's like). A native New Zealander residing in Sydney, Jeff spends his time outside of Zoom meetings busy in his home kitchen, cooking his famous chilli sauce or planning his next ocean swim

Nadine is our strategic, yet hands-on people leader, who is focused on making Provider Choice the best place to work. With over ten years of experience in hiring, building, and motivating talented teams at venture-backed startups and other fast-growing companies, she loves bringing clever and caring humans together, unleashing their potential and helps us champion our mission of making the NDIS easier to navigate for everyone. She also loves being active outdoors (must be her Canadian roots), from hiking and cycling to snowboarding and wake surfing.

Diana has a seventh sense when it comes to finding the right time and place to tell the world about Provider Choice. She’s our creative, committed and passionate Head of Growth and Marketing. Title aside – she’s more impact person than fluff marketeer, which means she chose her job because she truly wants to add value to someone’s life. Diana will dive deep into the data pools, understand your needs, and offer answers without being a bother. She enjoys experimental thinking as much as skipping across Sydney Harbour in a tinny with her doggo, Bailey. She also has a fierce love for the outdoors, yoga, whales, and for her faraway homeland South Africa.

Buzzing with energy and optimism, Helen is our dynamic community contact for the state of Western Australia. At sunrise, you’ll often find her up and running around Perth’s beaches training for triathlons before switching into what she calls “turbo mode” to make life for NDIS participants less stressful. From attending disability expos to showing families how to go about getting the most out of their plan, Helen always gives 110% to the people she works with – big smiles included.

You'll instantly feel better when Jen picks up the phone. She is our go-to person in the world of NDIS funding and heads our plan management team with great empathy and organisational skill. Jen is a trained primary school teacher, but – lucky for the disability community – discovered she’s much more in her element outside the classroom. Caring and sensitive by nature, Jen is great at training our plan managers and invoicing teams to offer a warm-hearted, friendly and dedicated service, where every person whose plan we manage feels reassured and understood.

We know Richard as someone who goes above and beyond to help people: in his role as our East Coast Community Engagement Manager as well as in his spare time, when he dons a high-vis vest for the St Vincent de Paul Society to "rescue food" from major supermarkets to feed people in need. Always kind and professional, Richard is one of our growth experts who helps to widen Provider Choice's impact in New South Wales and beyond. We know Richard as someone who goes above and beyond to help people: in his role as a Plan Manager as much as in his spare time, when he dons a high-vis vest for the St Vincent de Paul Society to "rescue food" from major supermarkets to feed people in need.

As Office experience coordinator nothing inspires Iolanda more than making someone's day a little bit brighter. Iolanda has worked in hospitality for years so she is no newbie when it comes to creating great experiences and making people feel right at home! One of her goals is to build a memorable and creative space where everyone feels welcome and safe to express themselves to the fullest. You will usually find her hanging out with her puppy Maverick. He loves coming to work, mostly because he is a big flirt, so he gets many cuddles and snacks from the team!

A company lives through its people. Nobody knows this better than Jono. As our People and Talent Associate, he makes sure Provider Choice is alive with the right mix of talented humans who enjoy what they do (whether that's being a good listener or writing code for our upcoming NDIS marketplace). Jono, who brings solid knowledge of recruiting and psychology to his role, loves building teams as much as he loves being a team player himself. He learned that in rugby, one of the many sports he is throwing himself into whenever he can – come rain, hail or shine.

Sally is making sure every NDIS participant getting in touch with us is having a great experience. She’s overseeing our team of personal Plan Managers and their workflow to create small magic improvements – shorter email response times, for example, or easier invoicing. Sally has outstanding NDIS expertise, thanks to years of working as a nutritionist and client engagement specialist with an NDIS health provider. Needless to say, she loves taking care of people and things, including a private greenery of over 60 plants grown on her balcony and sunroom floor.

Emily loves discovering stories about how people from all over the world and with different abilities live their lives. As our enthusiastic social media coordinator, she digs out interesting research, videos and news titbits that show the beauty of being unique – regardless of your ability. Prior to working at Provider Choice, Emily completed a bachelor’s degree in communications at UTS with a major in social and digital media. She also used to help produce social media content for the Sydney Film Festival. One of her favourite things to do in her spare time is to try out different restaurants and cafes and share good food with everyone she knows.

Rhys helped develop the Provider Choice app, which NDIS participant's use to understand and manage their plans, and the backend systems our teams use to support our participants. He is a firm believer in using technology to remove life's administrivia and give us back time to spend on doing whatever it is that brings us happiness. If he's not coding in his lazy boy he's in the surf or on the slopes.

Batman couldn’t save the world without Robin and our Perth office wouldn’t be the same without Ingrid. She is the congenial multi-tasking wingwoman to our WA Community Engagement Manager Helen, managing all kinds of queries and admin tasks. For example, she makes sure that anyone who wants to sign up with Provider Choice has their plan management account ready-to-go within 24 hours. Customer experience is her superpower, she says. She’s also a creative project starter, owner of two wriggly black dogs (a Spoodle and a Labrador), and a singer.

Steph is a dedicated personal Plan Manager currently studying psychology. Previous to joining us she was volunteering with Lifeline, which stoked her passion for helping people. According to Steph, the ears are the most underused muscle in the body and she will do everything she can to listen and understand your world from your perspective. Glitter is her favourite colour and she (literally) leaves a trail of it through the office! Outside of work you're most likely to find her upside down practicing handstands, pole dancing, sewing, singing, painting (galaxies are her favourite) or hanging out with her cat.

Razina was born and bred in sunny California. This certainly explains her American accent and fun, down-to-earth personality. With her medical background (she used to work in a hospital), Razina is very much attuned to the trouble people may face – with or without disability. She loves to make a difference and help others grow stronger on their journey through life. At Provider Choice, she’s using her terrific organisational skills to guide our customers through their plans. At home, she prefers going "off track" on dirt roads, she says, taking her two young boys on rides to the beach or into the national park to escape the city.

Emily is part of our Perth-based team and a dedicated personal plan manager. Before joining us, she worked for a mental health service in London, managing complex relationships and helping vulnerable people. She knows that you can only solve a problem well if you first take the time to listen. Which means Emily will hear you out and care about what you have to say, ready to find a solution. Outside the office she loves travelling and taking photos and feeling content about being lost behind a lens.

Blake might well be the most cheerful personal Plan Manager in our WA office. Humour is his main personality trait and his kind-heartedness can turn frowns upside down within seconds. Blake enjoys doing a job with purpose and wants to help people with disability live as normal a life as possible. He knows what he’s talking about. One of his older brothers has autism and lived through a childhood ordeal of being misdiagnosed and judged. To this day, Blake gets upset about how limiting society’s beliefs and expectations can be when you don’t fit the norm. His mission is to change that.

Rouba is a dedicated personal Plan Manager who enjoys solving problems and figuring things out. She’s also a savvy money manager, thanks to previous roles in the banking and finance industry, and feels most accomplished when she can make a difference in someone’s life for the better. In her spare time she enjoys bushwalks and bike rides and – her secret to happiness – sitting cross-legged in the grass watching the birds fly past.

Richard has an "always moving forward" approach to not only life, but work and believes everyone should have the ability to achieve whatever goals or dreams they wish. Approaching everything with a clear head and a new set of eyes, nothing is too much to ask of him and if he doesn't know it now, he will know it in depth tomorrow. Always up for chat, laugh and smile, with no reason then to have a better day!

Talina has a sixth sense for people’s needs and will be “all ears” when you want to talk to her about of your NDIS plan. A switched-on communicator and negotiator, she keeps her calm even when thrown into situations with a lot of moving parts. It’s a skill she’s picked up in her other life as a film and art aficionado – where she's proved her stress resistance during a background performance in the movie “The Great Gatsby” and as a versatile member of a video tech production firm.

Jessica doesn’t just manage plans, she connects deeply with people. She is also really good at chasing worries away - thanks to her experience in counselling and psychotherapy, which she is studying for a master’s degree with remarkable passion after work (usually accompanied by two mischievous and affectionate cats trotting all over her books). When she feels she needs to recharge, Jess enjoys heading out into nature to reconnect with the wild.

Kate is one of our dedicated Plan Managers and she’s motivated to make a difference to someone’s life, however small. She’s an ace when it comes to helping families through tough times and assisting them financially when they need it most – a skill she’s acquired in a previous job where she worked with life insurance claims. Originally from the UK, Kate has soaked up the Aussie lifestyle. She loves to spend as much time as possible on the beach for sunrise yoga sessions or after-work ocean swims. She’s also a passionate backpack traveller and cook (ask her about her curry nights!).
